JVC and VMI Paint Soho a New Shade of Red

VMI, High Definition and Broadcast held the official launch of its new Soho based HD facility on Monday, 15th November. Over 300 guests were treated to an up close and personal viewing of images from the JVC DLA-HD2K projector.

Barry Bassett, managing director at VMI comments: "The images produced from the HD2K were breathtaking. Visitors to the official launch party witnessed the realism and clarity of images produced from a rolling collage of HD footage in the form of music videos, documentaries and feature projects that VMI have worked on over recent months. With the help from JVC, we really did paint Soho a new shade of red!"

As if the HD2K was not impressive enough, also on display were JVC's 42" and 52" HD plasma monitors, the GD-V422 PCE and the GM-X50E. Once again, JVC are the manufacturer of choice for people in the HD world.

For those who were lucky enough to be there, it was truly a night to remember. Ian Scott, director, Pro Video Operation, UK at JVC Professional Europe Ltd adds: "The evening was a complete success and it confirmed to the West End Production community JVC's and VMI's commitment to High Definition."
