Pushca Party People Opt for All-Stanton Booth

Any number of high profile DJs play at Pushca parties and the club can justifiably claim to have been a launchpad for Boy George's DJ career back in the early '90s.
"We were actively looking for an audio partner and earmarked three companies who could cover the entire spectrum of front-end equipment," said Rob Gribbin, managing director of DigitalDance Corp, who operate Pushca. "Stanton were our first choice - and fortunately we didn't have to look any further!"
Stanton was promoted to first choice when Pushca found themselves working alongside Jazzy Jeff in Barcelona. "He was using the Stanton S-450 CD player and swearing by it. Until then I hadn't been aware of Stanton quality ? but I used it that night and was blown away."
The second deciding factor was Final Scratch, which takes its place alongside a pair of STR8-150 super high torque, straight tonearm decks, an SMX-501 mixer and DJ Pro 3000 headphones.
"I have used all the equipment before except Final Scratch," Rob continued. "But as so many of our guest DJs are now using that platform we felt it was time to permanently integrate the system into our booth. As for the STR8-150's, they have acquired a reputation for being the best there is, so it was definitely the right time for a move to Stanton."
With the new booth now rigged (and music files transferred) Pushca prepare for their largest show of the year on New Year's Eve - the lavish Return To Narnia, in a newly-created central London venue (expect strong The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe theming). Here the Stanton rig will be immersed in indoor forests, a snow garden – and even an ice castle.
Pushca's fastidious attention to detail and high production values (their sound reinforcement will continue to be provided by dance venue specialists Eskimo Noise) underscores Rob Gribbin's proud claim that "we still turn down more work than we accept."
