RAT LED Opera Stand to Debut at Wales Millennium Centre
RAT Music Stands has announced that it has developed a version of the Opera stand fitted with a LED (Light Emitting Diode) lighting system. The OperaLED stand is the slimmest, brightest, most long lasting music stand light ever. The light features 6 high-powered LED’s in a slim housing to give a bright, warm white light over the entire musical score. The LED’s are extremely robust and have a life expectancy equal to that of the stand as a whole.
Among the options offered with the new OperaLED light is an IEC daisy chaining system, dimming capability, rechargeable battery power as well as DMX lighting control. “This represents a technical quantum jump for our company and maintains our position as the leading music stand supplier to the worlds most prestigious music venues and professionals” said Andrew Michell, managing director of RAT Music Stands Ltd.
The OperaLED will have its debut at the Wales Millennium Centre on Cardiff Bay (U.K.) waterfront, which is the most exciting cultural initiative happening in Europe today. Not only will it be an international receiving house for opera, ballet, dance and musicals, it will also house seven diverse and exciting cultural organizations under one-roof.
