Stagecraft Lights the Way for Biggles
Stagecraft was involved in the sponsorship of the lighting for a charity event held at the Museum of Army Flying in Hampshire. The Biggles Ball raised over £30,000 for the Naomi House Children’s Hospice, which provides respite care for 3,500 children in the South West.
Stagecraft worked closely with the hospice’s Andover Community Contact, Delia Bolden, on the design of the lighting. Delia Bolden commented: “The team at Stagecraft was excellent and the lighting created an amazing atmosphere for the ball. Although we were all running around until the last minute getting everything ready, the evening was a great success. Every bit of support we have really makes a difference, and we look forward to working with Stagecraft on the next event!”
Lighting equipment sponsored by Stagecraft included Martin MAC 500, 600 and 300 automated luminaires, an Avolites Pearl control desk, Thomas Par 36 pinspots, Strand SL Profile spotlights and a new Rosco Image Pro to project images onto the outside of the museum. Stagecraft also provided Prolyte trussing, sound equipment and technical support for the event.
