Audio-Technica Europe Appoints New Board Members
Other appointments to the Board of Directors of Audio-Technica UK Ltd include Mr. Toshiyuki Hatakenaka and Mr. Shigeru Uzawa, representing two manufacturing divisions of the Corporation in Japan.
On 1st April this year Audio-Technica UK assumed responsibility for all European distribution and completed a refurbishment and expansion of its Leed’s based office and warehouse facilities in June.
To support this major expansion of European Operations, new appointments during this year began in April, with that of Richard Garrido as European marketing and distribution director, followed by Evangeline Pirot as area sales manager and manufacture liaison manager, France.
Isabelle Alran was appointed as European sales manager in October. Isabelle is well known in the industry and will be responsible to Richard Garrido for all European distributor sales. Sharon Stevenson was promoted to European sales office manager. Alex Lepges was appointed technical support manager Europe in July. Ebrahim Chopdat was appointed service manager in September and Lee Barnes, purchasing and operations manager, at the same time.
In addition to these senior appointments, two additional sales support staff have been recruited to the branch office in Wiesbaden.
