A.C. Lighting Awarded Digital Dealer Status by Yamaha Commercial Audio
A.C. Lighting’s Audio division was recently awarded ‘digital dealer’ status by Yamaha Commercial Audio. The promotion sees A.C. expand its portfolio of Yamaha products to include their range of leading technology digital mixing desks – including the flagship DM2000 production console.
The award-winning DM2000 sets the standard for the next generation of high performance digital mixers which provide users with total production control. The console offers uncompromised audio quality, extensive facilities and innovative features such as 96-kHz audio, Surround Monitoring, Studio Manager and DAW Control. The company’s Audio division have already sold their first desk to a major UK performance venue.
A.C. were granted digital dealer status due to the company’s position as a leading worldwide supplier of entertainment technology products with a multi-million pound stock holding, and its ability to provide first class service support for Yamaha’s digital console range. Support includes a fully trained consoles specialist, a 24hr customer telephone helpline and technical backup, and product training facilities.
Customers will also benefit directly from the new appointment of former Yamaha digital audio product specialist Alex Hadjigeorgiou (pictured), who joins A.C. with three years’ experience selling the console range.
Mike Case, Yamaha’s commercial audio national sales manager commented: “We are delighted to make A.C. one of our digital dealers. As one of the industry's largest distributors A.C. can supply a wide range of Yamaha audio products, but significantly, combines this with the level of in-depth product knowledge and personalised customer service which is a vital pre-requisite from our dealers at this end of the pro audio market."
Other Yamaha Commercial Audio products available from A.C. include loudspeakers, power amplifiers, sound mixers, microphones, processors and recording equipment. In addition, the company stocks all major pro audio brands and offers a Cable Express service, which can supply custom manufactured multicore audio cables and stage box systems for both installation and temporary usage.
