Charter Broadcast Open Day
Charter Broadcast, one of the UK's largest broadcast television equipment rental companies, will be hosting an Open Day of its County Hall studio facility overlooking the Thames and the Houses of Parliament on the 5th May between 10.30 am and 3.30 pm. The studio, formerly used for the Terry & Gabby Show, houses some of the most advanced equipment available to production companies, including Sony BVP 950 digital cameras, a master control transmission area and a 48 channel stereo sound control desk.
David Carr, managing director of Charter explains: "The event has been especially designed for production managers to visit this state-of-the-art studio, set amidst a unique venue, and observe the cutting edge resources Charter can provide. Last year we spent over £2 million investing in the latest technology as part of our continuous drive to improve the quality and services we offer, and this year we plan to invest over £3 million. The Open Day will showcase most of this new equipment within a studio environment."
He added: "The occasion will also highlight how Charter helped the production team of Terry & Gabby by providing them with a one stop shop for all its requirements. We were able to build the studio from inception, install all the equipment and maintain them to a very high standard."
