More than 320 High End Systems' lighting products, including its newest digital lighting line, will enhance the Eurovision Song Contest live and on the Internet on 15th May from Istanbul, Turkey.

Swedish lighting company Spectra+ was chosen for the fourth time to supply lighting for the event. This year it is working together with Turkish company Staras in suppling all production equipment, including the following HES products: 13 Catalyst Pro v3.0 Media servers, four DL1 Digital Light fixtures, 100 x.Spot HO, 100 Studio Beams, 75 Cyberlight SV and four Studio Color 575s.

Production manager Lars-Ola Melzig of Spectra+ says that he and returning LD Per Sundin of Swedish Television (SVT) are happy to be using High End Systems lighting products again, especially the Catalyst Pro v3.0 Media Servers and DL1s.

Says Melzig: "After using the DL1's at the Nobel Prize Award dinner last December, we are very happy to have four of them in this show, since we were very happy with their performance in the previous show!"
