Mackie Products Earn Industry Accolades at Musikmesse
Mackie picked up two prestigious awards at this year’s Musikmesse show in Frankfurt, Germany.
The first award, as voted by the readers of German magazine ‘Keys’, recognized the Mackie Control Universal as the ‘Best Studio Controller’ for DAW-based project or professional recording studios. Ulrich Mors of LOUD Technologies’ German office was on hand to collect the award. Mors commented: “It is a great honor that the Mackie Control Universal continues to be recognized by the industry as a market leader and, importantly, that it is still being enjoyed by those that use it.”
The second award Mackie received was a Musikmesse International Press Award (M.I.P.A.). This award is particularly significant as more than 50 International trade and consumer publications from around the world chose the winning products. The Mackie HR824 Active Studio Monitor was recognized in the ‘Best Studio Monitor (Nearfield)’ category — yet another trophy to add to this product’s growing collection of industry accolades.
In addition to the awards won, Mackie also received two additional M.I.P.A. nominations for the Mackie d8b and the new Mackie dXb in the categories of “Best Mixing Desk (Project Studio)” and “Best Mixing Desk (High End)” respectively.
