Summit Project Management Team Expands
Summit Steel has announced the appointment of Jay Call as project manager to its expanding Kent-based business. Call brings a wealth of experience from the theatre and technical show presentation worlds to the Summit Steel team.
His previous experience includes, most recently, four years as technical show manager at the Royal Albert Hall, where he was responsible for all technical aspects of productions including lighting and LX design, sound, AV, rigging and Health & Safety. Shows have included everything from prestigious awards ceremonies to corporate presentations to all types of concerts – from rock to opera and classical. At Summit, he will be again working across all disciplines in the rigging field, including dealing with live event producers and Summit’s diverse client base.
Summit’s Jon Bray says: “It’s great to have Jay onboard. His solid temperament and meticulous attention to detail which impressed us all so much when he was at the RAH will be a great asset, as will be his extensive knowledge of Health & Safety.
Jay Call comments: “I’m looking forward to my new role, which has more input into the production process whilst also developing my interests in rigging and Health and Safety. I’m really pleased to be joining Summit, and looking forward to the challenges ahead.”
