Sunbaba Screen Gives Safe Cover
Austronet 202 B1 ‘Sprinkler Net’ is a new material from Sunbaba Screens perfect for the ceiling of exhibition stands.
For some time, regulations covering exhibitions and events have stated that any covering or screening used as an exhibition stand roof should be made from flame-retardant materials, and more recently, sprinkler friendly. Now, Sunbaba Screens has launched a solution, with a new screening material that will satisfy designers, organisers and meet legal requirements.
Austronet 202 Sprinkler Net is a flame retardant screening that ensures the sprinkler system is unaffected and water can easily pass through the material rather than accumulating on top. This development will bring new dynamics and versatility to exhibition stand design, with the material being produced in black, white, grey and silver, and also reusable. Sprinkler Net can also be overprinted for those companies who want to add a special touch to their exhibition stand.
The qualities of the new material have resulted in it becoming one of the first on the market to achieve the certification from the German VdS, institution of fire safety and security regulations.
Jan Booth of Sunbaba Screens commented: “We are delighted to have this new product that will add a new dimension and allow our clients to be creative within exhibitions. It was a challenge to find a material that met the legal requirements and looked good but we believe the Sprinkler Net has succeeded.”
