Canegreen at Wanadoo Party

Canegreen at Wanadoo Party

Wanadoo decided to impress their guests with a party to mark the re-branding of their internet provider Freeserve. Event Management company Inca Productions created a great party and brought in Canegreen to ensure the on-stage sound was spot on for Kelis, Rachel Stevens and Leah Woods at London’s Scala.

With three live artists, the music played a central part in proceedings for the 450 invited guests. Inca Productions event producer, Jade Allan, was keen that the technical requirements were looked after properly, so whilst the Scala’s in-house PA and staff managed the front-of-house sound, Canegreen were brought in to manage the stage, monitors and stage changeovers.

Their Damion Dyer and Schon Emmanuel worked against a tight deadline to install the system ready for the rehearsals that ran straight through to the party itself. Jade Allen commented: “As always when working with Canegreen, they were very helpful and very attentive throughout the day. Their service and support was very good, the end result was a great sound, and our clients were delighted with the party.”

A Midas Heritage 3000 console was supplied to control the system, along with various effects and processing racks. Fourteen of Canegreen’s EAW SM15 wedges and a pair of side-fills comprised of Meyer MSL4’s and Meyer PSW2 Subs. The drum fill comprised two Meyer UPA-1P with a Meyer USW1-P sub speaker. Canegeen also supplied nine Shure PSM600 in-ear monitor systems and over 75 mics and stands as required by each of the artists. An eight-way comms system was also supplied for the event management and technical staff.
