ISO9001 Certification for Stage Technologies

Automation and stage engineering specialists Stage Technologies has announced that it is now certified to ISO9001:2000. Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance confirmed the registration in April 2004.

The Quality Management System is applicable for the design, development, manufacture, management of manufacture, installation, commissioning, hire and service of a range of automated stage rigging and engineering. The globally recognised standard measures the quality of management systems, thereby giving existing and potential clients the ultimate reassurance of the company's commitment to consistently achieving the highest standards.

Mark Ager, managing director, explained: "We decided to implement an ISO 9001-certified quality management system during last year in order to help us provide a service that meets or whenever possible surpasses the expectations of our customers. We have been delighted with the results to date and see the certification as just the beginning as we continuously strive to improve our levels of service."

Sales director, John Hastie, added: "Stage Technologies has always aimed to ensure that the products and services we provide are not only best suited to our customers' requirements but wherever possible will add value and creative possibilities to their own projects. The ISO9001:2000 standard provides a much more practical approach than its predecessors allowing us, through a process of 'continuous improvement', to audit certain targets and adjust procedures as necessary after certification to improve results."
