Register Now for A.C. Lighting North Tradeshow!

This year’s A.C. Lighting North Tradeshow looks set to exceed all expectations for the event, with more exhibitors than ever before and a record number of visitor pre-registrations.

If you haven’t already registered for the event, there’s still time to do so before the show takes place on Tuesday 12th – Wednesday 13th May at the Royal Armouries museum, Leeds.

Due to a significant increase in the level of interest from manufacturers to exhibit at this year’s show, the event has been expanded to take in an additional Seminar Theatre to accommodate extra exhibitors – resulting in over 60 leading brands demonstrating hundreds of essential products.

As well as this increase in exhibitors, the show will also provide a platform for the UK launch or preview of over 30 new product innovations from major entertainment technology manufacturers, providing an indication of how important the show is becoming as a key launch event for companies wishing to reach buyers in the North of England, and reinforcing its position as the largest single entertainment technology tradeshow in the region.

Highlights amongst the list of new products include important launches from Clay Paky, Martin Professional, Pulsar, Selecon, Zero 88, Avolites, Jands, Chroma-Q, Allen & Heath, Beyerdynamics, Turbosound, Community, Sennheiser and Le Mark Group. Show visitors will be the first anywhere in the UK to get their hands on these products, receive technical demonstrations and speak directly to the product specialists themselves.

The list of product launches also highlights how definitive the event is as a showcase of today’s entertainment technology market under one roof, with launches spread across product categories including lighting and lighting control systems, audio source equipment, audio consoles, amplification, speakers, rigging, stage effects, stands, audio-visual, projection, lighting and audio software, flight cases, consumables, lamps and cables and connectors.

The show also gives visitors free access to six seminars from industry experts on the latest product developments and legislation. Ron Bonner from PLASA will discuss how to comply with new legislation when working at height. Sound guru Dave Bearman will de-mystify digital audio distribution. Top LD Tom Lesh will explain how he overcame the hurdle of lighting the cartoon band ‘Gorillaz’ with shadows. Nigel Sadler of Scene Change will explore the creative world of mixed media lighting production. A.C.’s own Neil Vann will bring visitors up to date with lighting control networking, whilst Glyn O'Donoghue will discuss developments in LED's and their practical application in entertainment lighting.

Visitors can also expect a free buffet lunch as well as a free draw and special show price offers.

You can register on line at http://www.aclighting.com/tradeshow or turn up on the day – entry is free.
