Autograph Introduces LDS Loudspeakers to the UK
Autograph Sales has secured the UK distribution for LDS loudspeakers and premiered them at London's recent ABTT Theatre Show. This is the first time the Swedish manufactured cabinets will be directly available in the UK.
Sister company, Autograph Sound Recording, the theatre sound design and rental specialist, has already specified and installed the LDS range of ribbon loudspeakers on various UK theatre productions with much success. Most recently the brand new West End musical Beautiful & Damned is sounding gorgeous with a front of house system comprising of LDS800s and LDS700s.
The LDS speakers use a revolutionary technology based on the principles of the Homogenous Line Source, which produces a planar wave front whereby all frequencies reach the listener at the same time. The system is ideally suited when an extremely high sound quality is required, both for short and long distances, and for large and often awkward spaces like antiquated theatre auditoriums.
LDS' sales manager Michael Nilsson was delighted that Autograph Sales had agreed to add the range to it's already impressive distribution lines. “We have been looking for a UK distributor for a while, but hadn't managed to find a company we felt understood the product thoroughly. Autograph Sales showed great interest in our loudspeakers from the very beginning and put an impressive amount of time and effort in becoming totally familiar with the range prior to our agreement.”
