AV Support from CT Germany for BMW 6 Series Convertible
BMW turned to CT Germany as technical partner and AV equipment supplier for the presentation of their new 6 Series Convertible to the international press. The four-week event took place in the restaurant Eisbach in Munich and was organised by the BMW press department. CT Germany delivered all audio and video equipment for four evening events and installed, supervised and dismantled the equipment for each event.
For the presentation of the new Convertible CT installed three Barco ELM R18 projectors (each 17,500 lumens), a 20-metre wide x 4.5-metre high customised screen, and three hard disk recorders. The different event locations in the restaurant, the pavilion and also outside were covered with a complete audio installation in conjunction with a 6-channel wireless microport system. CT Germany also devised special technical solutions, which allowed the high-tech AV equipment to be operated at temparatures below zero.
