D&M Pro’s Annual O’S Annual Industry Cricket Challenge
The delightful Littlewick Green Cricket Club in Berkshire will again provide the setting for the industry’s annual Hayden Laboratories Cricket Cup Challenge (this year rebranded D&M Pro) on 12th August.
Staged between Clarion Events/Earls Court — organisers of the PLASA Show — and an Industry Invitation XI, the 50 overs-a-side match provides the opportunity for the industry to wind down before the big event at Earls Court in mid-September.
Captained by Paul DeVille, the Industry team will be looking to defend its title, while Clarion captain Dan Heasman will be equally keen to snatch the trophy.
The brainchild of Hayden Laboratories’ Simon Curtis, the event was first staged in 1999, when P&O Events won the inaugural trophy. Since then, Clarion Events, Hayden Laboratories, and in the last two years the PLASA Industry XI, have won the trophy.
Said Clarion Events’ PLASA Show director, Nicola Rowland: “This is a good fun day out, and all members of the industry are welcome to come down and lend their support.”
Pimms breaks and the traditional end of match barbecue will add extra spice to the occasion.
