Overwhelming Response to Lighting Logic Open Day

All expectations of in visitor attendance were surpassed at a recent Lighting Logic open Day, where close to 120 people passed through the portals of the Maidstone-based lighting and sound supply and Installation company.

   The Lighting Product Awareness Day was held in conjunction with the STLD in Studio 1 at the Maidstone Studios, where Lighting Logic has its office.

20 exhibitors were also present showcasing their products – all of which are available through Lighting Logic. This filled the studio and beyond, featuring a wide range of technology that was made available for demo and examination. This included hardware, grip and filter equipment, innovative LED fixtures and studio fluorescents, right through to generic and moving light heads.

   Lighting control and dimming from Compulite and LSC Lighting Systems was highlighted; both brands are directly imported from the manufacturer to the UK by Lighting Logic. The Compulite Vector took centre stage in the studio, linked to a Catalyst digital media server, and the LSC range of products, including The Maxim PatPAD linked to ‘Capture visualization software’ and the new EKO Dimmer was presented in Lighting logic’s own training area.

   In addition to seeing products close up, attendees also enjoyed Lighting Logic’s hospitality and the general sociability of the day. Many took advantage of a technical tour of the busy studio complex, where current clients include Ministry of Mayhem, Art Attack, and the Musician’s channel.
