Sennheiser on tour with The Cooper Temple Clause
Reading based prog-rock band, The Cooper Temple Clause, have just completed extensive tours of the US, UK and Ireland, using Sennheiser throughout.
TCTC co-headlined a sell out UK tour with BRMC in February followed by four weeks in the States on their own club tour. They also returned to play Coachella Festival in late April. All dates were in support of the band’s second album ‘Kick Up The Fire, And Let The Flames Break Loose’.
FOH engineer for the tours, Mark Kennedy, explains: "We immediately turned to Sennheiser to equip the entire stage with vocal mics, instrument radio systems, in-ear monitoring and of course a complete set of Sennheiser wired mics. I first tried the e614 condenser on the Russian State Ballet with the National Concert Orchestra shows in The Point Depot, Dublin at Christmas. I was so impressed with their performance on strings I decided to go with them as the main condenser microphones for the bands live performances."
Equipment for the tours included evolution e935 on all vocals, evolution wired mics - e604, e664, e609, e602, evolution wireless guitar systems and evolution 300 IEM systems.
