BT Staff Celebrate 30 Years at Alton Towers
Star Events Group supplied structures for BT’s ‘Thanks for 30’ party at Alton Towers recently, created to thank staff who had been with the company for 30 years. Star Events Group supplied a VT 20-15 VerTech stage for performances by the Bootleg Beatles, Tony Hadley, the Human League and Status Quo, who created a fantastic atmosphere.
The event was managed for BT for the second year in succession by Pump House Productions, who created a varied programme of activities for the guests. The amount of forethought into the day was evident from moment the guests arrived, when they were given umbrellas to ward off the uninvited rain. They were then welcomed personally by the event’s presenters, (DJ) Tony Blackburn and Cheryl Baker (ex Bucks Fizz) on a covered platform supplied by the Star Events Group. Guests were then given ‘magic money’ to buy food and have fun on the exciting rides of Alton Towers before enjoying the exclusive concert and the hospitality of the Alton Towers Hotel.
