ColorBlast Finds Favour in Event Production Markets
Color Kinetics ColorBlast intelligent LED-based lighting system is rapidly becoming a standard lighting tool within the UK event, exhibition and conference lighting markets. Recent clients to take this product on board include Creative Technology PLC, Lighting Hire, MCL, HFM Lighting and Smyle Productions.
ColorBlast 12 and 6 are equipped with 36 and 18 high power LEDs respectively, casting saturated, uniform colour for dynamic wall-washing applications. Options include frosted or clear lenses and white, black or aluminium powder coat finish. 24V power and data is provided by a dedicated power/data supply which is fully DMX compatible. A full range of accessories including barndoors, top hats and diffuser/spread lenses is also available. ColorBlast is IP66 rated, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Compact and lightweight, ColorBlast offers many advantages over typically large and cumbersome lighting equipment, which is costly and fragile to ship and store. Its long source life and rugged nature translates to minimal replacement, and its low power draw allows for easy installation without complex electrical requirements. It emits little heat, and can be concealed in tight spaces, near fabrics, people and other areas where high-heat lighting poses danger. On top of these practical benefits, ColorBlast applies advanced digital control technology to enable near-infinite design possibilities, including millions of colours and colour-changing effects.
