Multipurpose Seating: the Next Generation
Audience Systems has launched two innovative newspectatorchairs - the Zenith (right) and the Accolade. These new seating solutions have been introduced in response to the increasingly sophisticated demands of multipurpose venues in terms of comfort, flexibility and durability.
The Zenith is a resilient plastic chair which has been ergonomically designed for long periods of sitting – making it ideal for sports, concerts and even conferences. Its cleverly curved seat and back are based on the concept of three-dimensional comfort, fully supporting the spectator even as they move and turn in the chair.
Like its popular predecessor the Alpha, the Zenith is constructed of double-skinned, blow-moulded polyethylene, offering superb durability and low maintenance costs. The plastic mouldings are UV stabilised to prevent fading and will keep the chairs looking as good as new for years to come.
Continuing Audience Systems' tradition of designing practical and stylish upholstered seating is the Zenith's sister chair the Accolade (left). The optional plastic outer panels for the seat and back make the chair resilient enough to meet the demands of large multipurpose venues with high volumes of spectators and frequent turnarounds. At the same time, its refined styling makes it suitable for venues such as conference centres, television studios and studio theatres.
Both the Zenith and the Accolade are compatible with Audience Systems' popular TX Telescopic Platform System, considered the best system of its type on the market. TX platforms are engineered to provide fast and trouble free turnarounds, in addition both chairs have self-tipping armrests which automatically fold up and the chair folds into its stored position. The durability and high quality design of both the chairs and platforms mean that they require little maintenance – meaning less problems and less cost over the lifetime of the seating.
