PRG Helps Electrify Democratic National Convention

Production Resource Group is providing a complete lighting package for the 2004 Democratic National Convention in Boston. PRG's package includes many items traditionally available from PRG, as well as many new Vari-Lite technologies added to the company's inventory as a result of its June 2004 merger with VLPS Lighting Services.
Susan Tesh, general manager of PRG's Los Angeles office noted: "It's been great to work on this high-profile project as part of the new PRG. We were able to pull together all of our resources on time to provide the volume and variety of equipment that our client needed."
PRG's lighting package included: one Virtuoso VX Control System, 171 VL5 Wash luminaires,194 VL5Arc Wash luminaires, 30 VL6C Spot luminaires, 38 VL7 Spot luminaires, 90 VL3000 Spot luminaires, 181 Martin MAC 2000 Wash lights, 116 Par Bars, 58 Source Four 19° Lekos, 48 Dome Strobes, 30 1K Fresnels, 18 2K Fresnels, 12 6' MR16 Strip lights, two 2K Super Trouper II Followspots, four 2.5 K Gladiator Followspots, eight 3K Gladiator Followspots, and six DF 50 Foggers.
The 2004 Democratic National Convention runs this week from 25th - 29th July at Boston's Fleet Center and is produced by the Emmy Award-winning team of Don Mischer and Ricky Kirshner. Bob Barnhart and Bob Dickinson were the lighting designers with Matt Firestone as the Virtuoso programmer. Susan Tesh and Dale Ward led PRG's support team, with Tony Ward providing onsite coordination.
