Studer Vista 6 Nominated for Mix TEC Awards 2004
The Studer Vista 6 console has been nominated for a MIX TEC Award this year. The revolutionary console, a development of the highly successful Vista 7 mixer, uses the elegant Vistonics interface, which gives operators probably the simplest yet most powerful user interface to a digital console yet designed.
Vistonics uses a custom TFT screen with integral rotary encoders to deliver information and control exactly where the operator needs it - in one place. Vista 6 offers comprehensive monitoring and talkback facilities whereas Vista 7 is dedicated to productiona and post-production work. The latest model in the Vista range, the Vista 8, has shown tremendous potential since it's launch at NAB in the USA and AES in Europe.
The Mix Tec Awards take place at the AES Convention in San Francisco in October, where the winners, voted for by readers of MIX magazine, receive their awards.
