Sunbaba Cover Red Hot Chili Peppers
With just over 24 hours' notice, Sunbaba Screens supplied the screens to one of this year’s biggest outdoor events, the Red Hot Chili Peppers in Hyde Park.
The major concerts spanned two weekends in London’s Hyde Park, with three sell-out gigs, with one of today’s biggest rock bands performing to more than 80,000 people at each concert.
Just two days before the first concert, Sunbaba was approached to create six black screens to be used as stage scrims, using a total of nearly 500mē of material. The band were recording the shows for a live album and wanted the stage to look at its best for the photos being generated for possible inclusion on the cover of their new album!
From the initial call at 4pm on Thursday 17th, the screens were delivered to the site at 9.45pm on Friday 18th June, ready for their use for the massive events.
