DHA at PLASA 2004

At PLASA this year DHA will have a 'conversational' stand, focusing on their customers rather than their products and ensuring visitors are as up to date as possible with the extensive range of products and services that the company offers. No doubt much of the discussion will be centered around DHA's full colour glass gobo service which, through improved production processes, will soon be available on a reduced turnaround and at a lower price. Examples of these gobos will be on show on the stand.

The improvement to the full colour glass gobo service follows on the heels of the price reduction to spot colour glass gobos announced earlier in the year as a result of new production processes, systems and suppliers. Diane Grant, managing director of DHA, commented that "Although we are the biggest and most experienced gobo producer in the UK, we continually evaluate what our customers need and make it our mission to meet those needs. We recognized some time ago that colour gobos were perceived as too expensive and have been working towards a more economic production process - that does not compromise our high health & safety standards - for some time. We are delighted to now be offering customers the results of that R&D." Spot colour gobos - with up to two colours plus black per gobo - offer designers an enormous range of possibilities for a very reasonable price; these gobos will also be on show on the stand, as will examples from DHA's enormous and ever-growing library of metal gobos.

To complement its gobo ranges, DHA also manufactures an extensive range of optical effects including Gobo Rotators, Gobo YoYos and Animation Disks as well as fibre optic effects and the DHA Digital Light Curtain; full information about all of these products will be available on the stand.

DHA also offers a range of architectural lighting products, including its own Gecko image projector and the extensive range from Derksen, for which DHA is the exclusive UK distributor. Featured on the stand will be the new Lightbrush colour-mixing lighting system, which uses three fluorescent tubes to create an even coverage of up to 16.7 million colours even at throws of just 300-400mm.

DHA Lighting can be found on stand H11 (the same location as at last year's show) at PLASA 2004.
