Hall Stage at PLASA 2004
At PLASA this year Hall Stage will be exhibiting their latest hoist system, developed in partnership with ASM Steuerungstechnik, the revolutionary DGS Counterweight Drive.
DGS was awarded “Rigging & Engineering Product of the Year” at this year’s ABTT Theatre Show and has attracted a great deal of interest from venue managers and technicians alike. Utilising the ASM patented steel ribbon, ‘DGS’ eliminates the need for loading and unloading weights. It also eases health and safety issues from the process of theatre scenery flying, without ripping out the perfectly good counterweight system and closing the venue for months.
There are also a number of smaller innovations on exhibition, such as the riggers “Wingnut Spanner” and the “T60 Modular Clip”, which is a cut’n’shut kit to make life easier for T60 track fitters everywhere!
Visitors are invited to stop by Stand P60 for the usual Hall Stage welcome and selection of chilled refreshments.
