Hire with Entertee

Event management company Entertee has launched a new Hire Services Division – Entertee Hire Services Ltd – offering event crew, front of stage and pedestrian barriers and a proprietary new event fencing system, Hi-Hoard.

Entertee has managed and produced many outdoor events over the past 6½ years, including the recent regional ‘Party in the Park’ outside broadcast events for Capital Radio. These events offered the perfect opportunity for Entertee to showcase their new fencing, barrier hire and crew division, providing up to 1,500m of their proprietary fence hoarding and crew.

Reece Tee, Head of Entertee Hire Services explained: “Over the years, we’d noticed that standard hoarding and fencing products were either very expensive or no longer met stringent health & safety requirements. We therefore saw an opportunity to develop a new hoarding product – ‘Hi-hoard’ - as a more cost-effective alternative for outdoor shows, pop concerts etc. ‘Hi-hoard’ is both wider and higher than other brands of fencing (2.2m x 8m panels), but not as expensive as existing heavy-duty festival fencing. It is quick to assemble and is sized to keep transport costs at a minimum. It is also extremely secure, has no gaps, so no infill panels are required, and, as all the backstays are made at the same angle, it is completely straight when erected.

In addition, ‘Hi-hoard’ is painted green on the outside to ensure it blends into a park’s landscape – something we did in response to the increasing number of complaints made to local councils by park users and local residents. Their main concerns are that standard fencing is not sympathetic with the local landscape or looks unsightly, covered in old posters or worse still, graffiti.

This therefore offers event organisers and production companies a cost-effective, neat and secure fencing solution and it’s been incredibly successful at all of Entertee’s own events this year, including Elton John’s concert at the Hop Farm in Kent and for numerous events for O2.”
