Outline at the Hat Factory
The multi-million pound conversion of Luton’s Hat factory into an arts and media centre incorporates a purpose-built digital recording studio complete with isolation booths, a Yahama 12ft 6” grand piano and a plethora of Neuman microphones and pro-tools.
In addition, a jazz and blues venue has recently been opened in the basement of the venue and an installation of Outline professional audio products has recently been completed. Equipment involves four Outline Omnia Plus mid-hi cabinets and two Outline Mini Subs for front of house. Outline’s SM12 wedge are used for stage monitoring. The whole system is powered by QSC Amplifiers and controlled by XTA DP226 loudspeaker management system. Final equalisation is managed by XTA’s SIDD EQ’s.
