Bandit Lites Joins Vari*Lite Dealer Network
Bandit Lites is now a member of the Vari-Lite dealer network. As an official Vari*Lite dealer, Bandit Lites now offers the complete line of Vari*Lite automated lighting products, and will have immediate access to the new VL3500 luminaires. The VL3500 luminaire is a 1,200-watt spot fixture with automated shutter capabilities.
“The addition of Bandit Lites to the Vari-Lite dealer network brings about great new opportunities for the lighting industry,” said Vari-Lite vice president of sales Bob Schacherl. “Bandit Lites has been one of the biggest names in the industry for the past 35 years. Their client list is impressive, and we look forward to seeing Vari*Lite fixtures added to many of their tours and events over the coming months.”
The first act to take advantage of the relationship between Bandit Lites and Vari-Lite will be REM, with lighting designer Susanne Sasic incorporating VL3000 Wash luminaires into the design.
“With the advent of the Series 3000 fixtures, and the introduction of the VL3500 luminaires, the market is dictating that we ramp up our stock of Vari*Lite fixtures,” said Bandit Lites vice president Richard Willis. “The VL3000 Spot luminaire is the light. It is a fantastic fixture, and we are excited to offer it to our customers.
