Coemar at PLASA

Coemar will show its broad range of products at PLASA, leading with Flex automated luminaires. What makes the Flex unit different from all the other products on the market today is not only the intensity of its light beam, which is generated by a 2000W lamp, but also its range of exclusive, patented features that create its unique performance, say Coemar.

Coemar’s new Fiera line of fixtures have been designed to meet the lighting requirements of professional exhibition work. As with many other Coemar products, the Fiera spotlight features DMX bidirectional dialog, which, by means of the DRI system, allows the user to vary settings, take measurements, vary parameters and record lighting scenes by remote control where direct access to the fixtures is impractical.

The iSpot 1200, available in both magnetic or ‘EB’ electronic ballast versions, is a moving head 1200W discharge lamp spotlight with iris diaphragm, dimmer, zoom, automatic focus, two gobo wheels each with six gobos, and proportional frost. In addition, two rotating multiplier prisms, five solid colors, multicolor effects, a high-resolution trichromatic (RGB colour mixing) system, and a 3200K proportional correction filter round out the unit’s on-board capabilities.

The ShowColor 3200K and ShowColor 1200 EB have, respectively, a halogen lamp and a discharge lamp with an electronic ballast. These moving head spotlights are designed for stage shows and TV studio applications and form part of a new range of pure spotlights designed for generating large output by making maximum use of the available source light. The ShowColor spotlight generates infinite colors that are created by an innovative radial CMY system. Projection angles are varied through the use of additional lenses. The 1200W, 80V halogen lamp has a very strong filament and output beam is provided with the greatest amount of brightness by means of a 3200K color temperature and an absolutely precise dimmer. The advantages offered by the model with the discharge lamp, in addition to the enormous amount of light generated, is the stroboscopic electronic ‘zap’ effect.

New products based on LED technology include the iWash LED spotlight which features both moving head and LED technology, electronic dimmer, stroboscopic effect and almost infinite creation of colour, generated by the convergence of red, green and blue superimposed over each other. Additional lenses permit varying projection angles. The fixture is very lightweight with a light source featuring a rated service life of around 100,000 hours.

Coemar, always avant-garde, is also presenting an illumination system which is characterized by the use of high-brightness LED technology. Linealed is modular and available in a range of models and output colors. The power-supply system is also modular and adapts itself to a wide range of different applications, regardless of their dimensions.
