Double Take as Ian Brown Joins Robe UK
Bringing a wealth of experience and industry knowledge in the moving light field to the Robe UK equation, Brown’s past work includes extensive periods at both Martin and High End. His most recent work with Stage Electrics has also given him excellent hands-on insight into the UK rental market.
The two Ian Browns are very much looking forward to working together. Far from being confusing, “Having two Ian Brown’s on board has the distinct advantage of making it easier for people to remember the contact name,” states Robe UK’s MD Ian Brown. “It’s great to have Ian onboard. His enthusiasm, tenacity and skills fit perfectly into our future plans.”
The latest Ian Brown will be working ‘on the road’ for Robe UK, getting the product out-and-about and demonstrated in situ in a variety of hands-on situations. “It’s a great product,” he says. “The units are extremely robust, well engineered and very competitively priced – and I’m positive it will be a huge success.”
Rumours that singer Ian Brown and his band are performing at the Robe party during PLASA are currently “unconfirmed”.
