JVC Professional Europe Announces New Structure
JVC Professional has announced its decision to strengthen core business with two senior appointments.
"JVC is a well established and highly respected company in the video industries," comments Peter Sibbe, chief operating officer. "In order to focus more precisely on our core markets we decided to establish two separate divisions for our Pro Video business and for CCTV."
Yash Patel will head the new CCTV Europe operation that's set to expand even further into the UK and European market. Yash Patel was appointed executive director, CCTV Europe.
All other UK product areas, including video, presentation systems and storage are now consolidated into Professional Video. Ian Scott has been appointed to run the operation as director, Professional Video Operation UK. Scott was appointed from general manager – Scandinavia and Benelux, a position that he held for 18 months. Prior to this role, he managed the development of JVC European companies and joined JVC as export sales manager in 1995.
"I believe that companies are looking for better value from their business relationships," comments Scott. I am looking forward to the challenge of supporting our customers with excellent products, a strong, motivated sales team and first class technical support."
Reporting to Scott will be Tim Rawlings, general manager - export and Trevor Bilcock, general manager, UK Sales as well as the UK sales, marketing and service team.
