Lightfactor Exhibits at Black Light’s Open Day
Hardly catching breath after PLASA, the Lightfactor Sales team is taking full advantage of Black Light’s Open Day in Edinburgh on 24th & 25th September. They will show the latest products from SGM, LightProcessor and Xilver including all the new launches from PLASA. “It’s a great opportunity to reach those who didn’t make it to PLASA,” says Lightfactor’s Peter Coles.
Featured products will include SGM’s Palco colour changing LED fixture, and the Giotto Spot and Wash fixtures – it will be the first time the new Giotto Spot CYM has been seen in Scotland. Black Light are Lightfactor’s Scottish distributor for SGM and are working closely with them on developing brand awareness.
From LightProcessor, Lightfactor shows the new 12 channel Dimension 3000 dimmer. This is a fully featured touring dimmer at great price, with DMX control, single or three phase operation and 12 MCB breakers with an RCD option. Features accessed via the front panel LCD display include individual or multiple DMX addressing of channels; individual or global channel test; inbuilt scenes for test DMX and power-up; three dimming curves – switch, square and linear; individual pre-heats on each channel plus individual ‘max out’ on each channel. The rear of the dimmer features LightProcessor’s popular service plates – available with Harting or Socapex 2 or 4 as an optional extra. The dimmer’s modular construction makes for easy repair and maintenance, and there’s a thermostatic fan at the rear.
From Xilver is the new Sparkle XL and RainDrop LED fixture. The Sparkle is an RGB colour mixing system. The new Sparkle XL incorporates Xilver’s patented homogenous colour mixing system, which mixes the colours inside the unit, reducing colour fragmentation in the beam path. This gives an extremely even beam and colour field. Sparkle XL’s light output is equivalent to that of a PAR 56 sized fixture. The unit is available with 3 lens options - 8, 22 & 40 degrees. It’s a self-contained unit with DMX & power straight in, and is ideal for museums, heritage, architectural and retail applications, as well as more traditional uses like conferences and corporate events.
