Triple E with Rosebrand

PLASA is a show that Triple E does not usually exhibit at, however Rosebrand who are Triple E’s American distributor with offices on the East and West coasts have decided to show at the event this year. Since opening its doors over 80 years ago, Rose Brand has become America’s leading supplier of draperies and textiles for the theatre and entertainment industry, and its extensive catalogue covers everything you need to stage a successful show or event.

Sales of Triple E product are beginning to take off Stateside and it made sense for Rosebrand to promote Triple E product to the American visitors expected at PLASA. As a result Triple E will be showing their full range of track related products at the PLASA show on Stand D60.

Chaintrack is the most flexible – literally – of all of Triple E’s track systems. Using a standard duplex roller chain for both driving and suspension of curtains, Chaintrack opens up enormous opportunities for designers, chief of which is the capacity to provide the single most requested curtain effect – that of keeping the fabric flat while it’s travelling, including around curves and tight corners. Uniquely, it also enables designers to show both sides of a curtain, providing a continuously moving, flat background that can change colour, texture, pattern or image. Rosebrand’s Times Square revolving backdrop demonstrates the versatility of this unique system.

Visitors to the stand will also be able to see Unibeam with Chain drive. Designed specifically to replace a helical-drum hauling system when space is limited, this provides motorised operation for both curtains and scenery. It also offers applications for main house curtains that have a secondary effect such as being flown vertically and/or swagged.

Triple E’s Unitrack with its motorised and manual operation for both curtains and scenery is a versatile curtain track system. Used widely for theatres, exhibitions, trade shows and rock and roll tours, modular sections are available in standard lengths of 2m, 1m, 0.5m and 0.25m. Special curved sections are available to order and there are at least 16 ways of cording the tracks, with the option to simply bolt on drive motors.

Triple E celebrated its 20th year in business in February and it has always been an innovative company constantly at the sharp end of applying and developing new techniques for the entertainment industry. 2004 will be no exception, with some exciting new developments in the pipeline.
