Xtreme Audio Visual Make Elbow Room for Nexo
Essex-based installation company Xtreme Audio Visual has completed many projects for the Elbow Rooms, the highly successful chain of pool bars and club venues across the UK. The latest commission has taken Xtreme to Notting Hill, to the original Elbow Room.
Xtreme has installed a package supplied by Fuzion, comprising a pair of Nexo PS10 full-range cabinets, three pairs of Nexo PS8 compact cabinets and Crown CE1000 amplifiers.
The Elbow Room features not only pool tables but a popular bar and dancefloor area, which has just been fitted with a portable DJ booth which is used at weekends. The PS10s provide the dancefloor with enough level, whereas PS8s are used around the pool tables. "This bar is in a very densely populated neighbourhood," explains Duncan Baines of Xtreme, "so potentially there are problems with the neighbours. The PS10s and PS8s provide good-quality sound without needing to be pumped."
Xtreme AV has just been awarded the contract to equip the Elbow Room in Islington, and also handles the maintenance contract for all the Elbow Rooms in the UK.
