FBT Launches Amico
First shown at PLASA, Proel (International) has announced the UK arrival of FBT's stylish Amico 1000 portable PA system.
A fully integrated professional quality package featuring mixer, power amplifier, high quality sub-woofer and two satellite speakers, the Amico package has been designed to offer an unbeatable combination of sound quality, ruggedness and ease of use. Proel says the Amico 100 is ideal for live bands, solo performers, mobile DJs, entertainers, fitness trainers, conference organisers and sales presentations.
Fitted with extra large diameter wheels and a single carrying handle, the Amico 1000 is particularly useful for solo performers, especially women, who will be impressed by its light weight and easy manoeuverability. A typical example of the thought that has gone into the Amico range is that the 100mm diameter wheels are made from a scuff-proof material, so that they won't mark venue floors. The casing, meanwhile, is formed from moulded polypropylene, delivering exceptional strength from minimum weight.
The Amico 1000 offers seven mic inputs and four stereo channels (including 24v phantom power supply). The 15" custom neodymium sub-woofer is driven by a separate 600 Watt power amplifier, while the twin 6.5" neodymium plus 1" with horn satellite speakers are driven by a 2x150 Watt onboard stereo power amplifier. Both amplifier stages feature FBT’s well-respected PWM technology and the unit comes with its own newly developed digital effects processor offering 256 presets.
It comes as a complete plug-and-play package, including an accessory bag, cables and satellite stands.
