LiteStructures XLiteDeck at The Event Show

LiteStructures will be exhibiting its expanding range of products at the 2005 Event Show.

If you don’t have the storage capacity or the need for a product that takes the pounding LiteDeck can take, then XLiteDeck, LiteStructures’ latest offering - a fully compatible sister product to LiteDeck - could be just what you are looking for.

Whilst LiteDeck is still the only choice for large-scale productions where there is a requirement for a high load-bearing capacity of up to 7.5kN/m2, XLiteDeck has been developed in response to the increased demand for space saving, cost-effective multifunctional flooring/staging systems.

Fully adjustable legs ensure that XLiteDeck can cope with the most uneven of floors and it easily conforms to the flooring height regulations of 100mm limit at most exhibitions. Furthermore, there is a version with a fully removable top, providing access to the space underneath, so you can build the frame, level it, run cables and then secure the surface with the simple to use TopLock system in the same way as LiteDeck. In fact, XLiteDeck is fully compatible with LiteDeck and can easily be used to supplement any LiteDeck where there is a lower load-bearing requirement.

XLiteDeck is available in a number of finishes - black ply, plain ply for painting to your own colour specification, reduced millimetre ply for covering with carpet or laminate, or a black polyphonic surface which not only looks great but is particularly hard-wearing. All surface finishes come with the option of a metal surround frame into which the surface sits neatly.

LiteStructures also offers a range of truss for both functional and decorative purposes, with a load bearing capacity of between 10kg and 600kg. The range extends from the industry standard AstraLite, which is perfect for the entertainment, exhibition and conference market, through to the robust and highly durable LitePro, which is ideal for the rental and touring market. And LiveLite, which is standard truss with an integrated lighting track, enables the designer to place lighting fixtures anywhere on the truss while eliminating the need for time-consuming cable routing. Plus there’s a range of generic lighting fixtures designed specifically to work with LiveLite, all of which can be hired nationwide from LiteStructures.

Simon Taylor, LiteStructures’ marketing director, said: “The thing which makes LiteStructures stand out from the crowd is the fact that every one of our products is available to rent as well as buy, making top quality stages, sets and stands much more accessible regardless of the size of your budget.”
