Peter Hind Leaves Total Structures
Peter Hind is to leave Total Structures after three very successful years at the California company. He is returning to his native UK for personal reasons, but will continue to be involved in the industry as a consulting engineer and as such will also continue his involvement with Total Structures.
His time at the company has seen a number of landmark successes concluded to high acclaim, notably the development and launch of new wave truss and the design, manufacture and installation of the acoustic canopy at the Hollywood Bowl.
His contribution to the development of ESTA Technical Standards has been immense, and he has been at the core of a working group that has seen the adoption of an ANSI truss manufacturing standard and the development of a stage roof standard that has recently completed its first public review. He will continue to see this latter project through to completion.
Ian Coles, president Total Structures Inc., said: “Peter’s contribution to the company and the industry at large, cannot be understated and we wish him well for the future and look forward to a continuing working relationship with him.”
