Standard and Custom Pre-wired Lighting Bars from Major

Major offers pre-wired lighting bars for fixed wired lighting installations – either as standard products or as special versions. Lightpower of Paderborn, Germany, produces all Major bars by using special quality components, so if the required product is not included in the range, customer-specific products of up to 4m in length can be made to requirements.

With the pre-wired ACL bars including Powercon a female connector for each luminaire, safety when using ACL lamps is paramount. By pulling the plug above the yoke the user is able to disconnect the luminaire from the main voltage when replacing the lamp. This ensures that the user can work on a safe, voltage-free unit. In addition, all Major bars are provided with fail-control lamps that are placed next to the connector, enabling location of the defective lamp quickly.

Major´s lighting bars are available in rectangular or round bar versions and in aluminium or powder-coated in black - also with different main output sockets. The different versions can be compatible with 2” couplers, double C-hooks and truss clamps.

Due to the flexible choice of fixtures, 48 mm round bars including mounted Schuko plugs are more frequently requested. All Major bars can be equipped with most of the European cable connector types (British, French, Danish, Swiss, etc) according to international standards. They can be delivered with HAN A instead of HAN E connectors, but also with 19 pol ICP (Socapex). Also, the round bars are available with smartsockets that offers a robust and roomy housing for mounting the Socapex cable connectors.
