Tod Rundgren: Fire and Ice: the Price of Dreaming Awake

When spectacle is enough, why insist on the theatrical? Rundgren explains the difference and reviews a lengthy history of stage presentations, both theatrical and spectacular. This includes case studies of a slew of pioneering technologies, some high-tech, some astonishingly low-tech. He will recall 35 years of stagecraft culminating in 2004’s Liars tour, the first to employ 100% solid state stage lighting.
