Community Makes the Party at Brannigans

Brannigans in Chester has recently undergone a major refurbishment that included the installation of a new audio system, based around Community loudspeakers. The refurbishment is part of a programme to refit all eleven Brannigans branded venues that started with the Blackpool site earlier in the year.

Installed by York-based PV Audio Visual, the Herald Inns and Bars owned venue now sports six Community CPL42 loudspeakers for the main dance floor, chosen for their compact size with the ability to produce superbly clean, distortion-free sound and great low frequency performance at very high levels.

Off dance floor infill is handled by eight Community I/O 8 loudspeakers and eight Community I/O 5 loudspeakers were used for Brannigans VIP room. The I/O series have a smooth design, which merges discreetly with the décor, whilst providing hi-fi quality audio at substantial levels.

Brannigans is renowned for being a place to party, so the system not only had to provide quality but quantity, being driven at high level for hours at a time. Installer Peter Vary commented: “It’s all about using the right tools for the job and the performance of the Community loudspeakers is simply stunning.”
