Two in a Row for Sennheiser Evolution
At the recent MIA Music Awards ceremony held in The Savoy, London, Sennheiser received the Live Microphone Award 2005 for their Evolution e835 microphone. For the second year running a microphone from the Evolution range has won this prestigious trophy, and Sennheiser were naturally thrilled to receive this acknowledgement.
The Music Awards 2005 event on 14th September was an outstanding celebration of the diversity and success of the musical products industry, and was attended by over 300 guests from the whole breadth of the music industry, plus representatives from government and associated organisations. These included Mark Jaffrey, the government’s Music Manifesto champion; Fergal Sharkey, Chair of the Live Music Forum; Al Tickell, Music Industry Skills Director at the Sector Skill Council; and Peter Jamieson from the British Phonographic Industry.
John Steven, director of marketing Sennheiser UK, said: “We acknowledge that an MIA Music Award is recognized by the music industry as a badge of excellence and we are delighted to receive this seal of endorsement from our peers. It is also gratifying, knowing the formidable strength of some of our competition, to have won this award for two years running.”
