Dutch Venue Upgrades to Allen & Heath Console
Dutch live music venue, the Vera Club, recently upgraded their monitor console to an Allen & Heath GL4800 multi-purpose live sound console.
Located in Groningen, the mid-sized club is renowned for its underground programme, hosting up-and-coming international acts - which recently included The Editors, Art Brut, The Kills, The Dears, and The Subways - as well as cultural events, such as film screenings.
The club purchased the GL4800 through Allen & Heath's Dutch distributor, TM Audio.
"Out of all of the mixers the venue's technicians evaluated for the installation, they selected the GL4800 for its extensive output section, as well as its excellent sound and headroom. The mixer is very intuitive to use, making it easy for touring sound engineers to handle,'' commented TM Audio's Rudolf Natzgaam.
