Le Mark Short-listed for International Trade Award by UK Trade and Investment
Le Mark Group is continuing their successful run of award nominations this year, following on the heels of their recent Cambridgeshire Innovation award nomination, where they secured third place in that hard fought category.
Stuart Gibbons, managing director of Le Mark commented: “We were extremely surprised to receive the phone call from UK T & I, advising that we had been short listed for an East of England International Trade Award!”
Le Mark have benefited from the Passport to Export Programme, in particular their efforts to develop business in the Middle East and Indian markets. 650 Companies had participated in the programme over the last three years, and Le Mark were nominated by their Business Link International trade manager Paul Sharpe for consideration into the ‘final 10’.
Gibbons said:” We feel extremely privileged to be considered as a finalist. The company as a whole have worked very hard to build brand awareness and a reputation for supplying quality products, on time, with great customer service and support. The Middle East is perhaps the most competitive market to operate in and it has taken three years to understand and adapt to the culture and specific needs. We believed it was important to establish Le Mark in ‘fast growth’ countries like the United Arab Emirates and with the support of ‘Passport to Export’ we are doing it.”
