Recording Deal for Arena Seating Diplomats in Abbey Road

Arena Seating recently installed their temporary executive Diplomat conference seating in Abbey Road Studios for an EMI retail conference.
Abbey Road Studios, the most famous recording studio in the world, played host to the meeting of EMI’s retail contacts from across the UK to discuss future artist releases.
The conference was produced in-house by EMI with production manager Deby Fairley creating an incredible temporary conference environment so that delegates could take in the business of the day in the best possible atmosphere in Abbey Road’s Studio 1.
Arena Seating’s project manager, Martin Clark installed tiered seating in keeping with the luxury conference auditorium created in Studio 1, ensuring the
275 delegates all had a good vantage point. The flexibility of the diplomat system was demonstrated with191 seats in a tiered format behind 84 more diplomats in flat formation.
Martin commented: “The diplomat system is the cream of temporary tiered conference seating to give the feel of a permanent venue. It is not only comfortable for the delegates, but relatively quick and easy to install, which is important in situations such as this where the client wanted to minimise disruption to other bookings in the venue.”
The temporary conference setting in Abbey Road was completed by state of the art audio-visual equipment used to showcase advance screenings of music videos, live performances and the presentations.
