Midas Appoints New Distributor for Italy
Midas has announced that it has appointed Milan-based Texim srl as its Italian distributor.
Texim has been Klark Teknik’s Italian distributor for 15 years, and the decision to expand the company’s remit to include the Midas range of consoles is a logical progression given the increasing interoperability between the brands. This is exemplified in the November launch of Klark Teknik’s Show Command integrated system of hardware and software which can interface with Midas consoles.
“The move comes at a time when the synergy between the two brands is stronger than ever, and it makes sense to have one distributor handling both,” says Midas and Klark Teknik sales and marketing director David Cooper. “Texim is consistently one of our best European Klark Teknik distributors and we are confident that they can repeat this success with the Midas range. Their technical sales and service engineers have already attended in depth training seminars at our UK premises and are fully geared up for the new products they will be representing.”
The Midas and Klark Teknik product ranges will be headed up by Pierfranco Galeone, who says: “I am very proud and happy to distribute such a prestigious brand in my country. I have always considered it extremely important to have the Klark Teknik and Midas brands distributed by the same company. This will give both Texim and Midas the opportunity to better satisfy our customers' needs. We will work hard to produce good results from this new and important commitment.”
