ABTT Theatre Show on Target to Reach Sell-out

Organised by the ABTT (Association of British Theatre Technicians) and administered by Pandemonium Productions, ABTT 2005 will build on the success of last year’s event. It will deliver a unique showcase of contemporary technical products and services from the UK and mainland Europe tailored for theatre and auditoria

Already 80% of the floor space is committed by 105 confirmed exhibitors, which represent all aspects of the market. ABTT Theatre Show 2005 promises to present the latest integrated systems and automated response solutions whilst focusing on Access issues and pan-European Health & Safety legislation.

The Show’s three halls are almost filled to capacity. Established exhibitors such as AC Lighting, Stage Technologies and Triple E are alongside important newcomers. New or returning exhibitors include Czech lighting manufacturer Robe, German lighting control specialists MA Lighting, The British Turntable Company, sound equipment suppliers Fuzion, and radio microphone specialists Trantec.

XL Video is exhibiting for the second year, where it will highlight its services for theatre. Lighting manufacturer ETC will present its range of automated luminaries designed for theatre and architectural applications.

A host of industry leading names including theatre sound specialist Orbital, have increased their space; the company will debut its new professional audio sales division. Triple E will present its range of track systems for the entertainment industry.

Show director, Roger Fox commented: “We’ve had a terrific up take on this year’s show - we believe ABTT offers a unique umbrella platform for technical solutions in theatre and auditoria. With approx 70% of exhibiting companies re-booking year on year, they firmly regard ABTT as part of their annual marketing strategy. This year we promise to offer a number of new product launches as well as new exhibitors from the UK and mainland Europe.“

ABTT’s Annual Dinner and Awards ceremony will take place at The Officers Club on Wednesday 15th June. The Awards recognise technical innovation in theatre technology as well as personal achievement in technical theatre.
