ECT Projection Screens for London Olympic Bid
ECT were recently asked to manufacture two 10 x 7.5ft special projection screens for the major London Olympic Bid presentation in Trafalgar square.
The screen requirements were very specific. They had to have a black frame which would act as the border and the screen surface had to be mounted on the rear of the frame, with a white webbed border and stretch velcro fixings to the frame. Each screen also had to have eyebolt hanging fixings on the tops and sides so they could be flown.
Other recent examples of screens made by ECT for specific projects include: ‘Fashion Rocks’, ‘Tate Gallery Turner Prize Awards’, Tate Modern, and the National Television Awards Sail screen.
