FX Group’s Tony Andrews is Latest APRS Boards Member
The FX Groupšs marketing director Tony Andrews has been recruited to the board of the APRS (Association of Professional Recording Services). Andrews replaces the FX Group’s former technical director Frank Oglethorpe on the board, following Oglethorpe’s departure to the USA at the end of last year.
"I'm extremely pleased to represent FX and have a voice within such a significant association," says Andrews. "It’s an important time for the APRS, which is restructuring to encourage a much broader membership from today's studio operators, and my background in the evolving recording studio market should stand me in good stead to contribute in a positive way to those changes."
Andrews’ arrival on the APRS board coincided with the appointment of a new chairman, David Hamilton-Smith.
The FX Group encompasses FX Rentals, FX Music Control (sales of new and second hand equipment), FX Cimple Solutions (service and repair), FX Technical Services (installations), FX Copyroom and FX Spain.
